Clubs can supplement their squads with an unlimited amount of players under the age of 21, meaning Roy Hodgson will also be able to call on the services of Peter Gulacsi, Martin Kelly, Daniel Wilson, Jonjo Shelvey, Daniel Pacheco, Nathan Eccleston and David Ngog for Barclays Premier League games this season.

Liverpool have announced manager Rafael Benitez has left the club by mutual consent after six years in charge.
Benitez, 50, replaced Gerard Houllier as Liverpool manager in June 2004 and guided them to Champions League and FA Cup success the following two seasons.
But last season they made an early exit from the Champions League and finished only seventh in the Premier League. more

The Kop striker's agent, Jose Antonio Peton, last night insisted: "For the moment I can assure fans that Fernando will continue at Liverpool next season."
And that is bad news for Manchester City and Chelsea who would both love to have the Spanish World Cup star on their books.

May 11 (Bloomberg) -- Zhu Jun, the multi-millionaire founder of a Shanghai-based online gaming company The9 Ltd. has held provisional talks on buying the Liverpool football club, the Independent reported, citing unidentified people.

Zhu, the 44-year-old chief executive officer of Nasdaq- listed company, has had two “exploratory meetings” in Hong Kong and Shanghai in the past week about buying Liverpool, it said.

LFC without him again.?.. I can't imagine.. Ngog is still young and inexperience... LFC need 2nd striker to partner him...else, BPL 2010/11 will be a disaster...

LFC need Torres to face his old club... at least we can be the champion .... I need Chealsea to continue the good run... At least ManU will not be the most English winners... Hopefully Torres will be back during Atletico Madrid match.
